If you're thinking of buying a home or property and joining the Red Deer Real Estate market this article is for you. There are new industry rules are requiring all licensed sales associates to enter into buyer brokerage agreements with their clients. These agreements do not have to be exclusive agreements and they do not bind a client to using only the services of the professional that signed the agreement.
These contracts work to formally outline the relationship between the buyer agent and the client. The contract delineates the level of performance expected from the agent in the performance of their role.
It is becoming mandatory for all licensed members to have these agreements with their clients to avoid creating an advantage for licensed members who do not wish to enter into these agreements since these agreements will be intimidating for most of the public.
It will be our policy to permit our clients the opportunity to find the property they want to buy with whomsoever they wish to buy it from. We understand fully that entering an agreement with a professional one has just met is asking for a trust that is as yet unearned.
It will be our policy to earn the trust of our clients prior to asking for any agreement. If you feel pressured at any time we present you with an agreement for service then simply tell us. It is not our intention to bind you to any term of service, it will be our intention only to abide by the terms of service and the definition of that service so that you fully understand the nature of our role and the compensation we receive for our services.
We invite your comments and look forward to answering any questions you have on this subject.
